About Photo Experience
Photo Experience delivers souvenir photography systems for some of the most exciting visitor attractions and theme parks across Ireland and the UK. Our work brings together technology, photography, logistics, basic electrical integration and on-site delivery to capture the moments guests remember long after their visit.
The Role
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants a role with variety, responsibility and a bit of adventure. You will be based from our HQ in Tullamore, but your work will take you into the warehouse, out on the road and behind the scenes at busy visitor attractions and theme parks.
As Technical Operations Coordinator, you will help turn plans into working systems. One day you could be preparing equipment and stock in the warehouse; another day you could be on-site helping install camera systems, supporting maintenance, working with power systems, fabricating or terminating cables, solving practical issues or making sure a venue has everything it needs to keep running smoothly.
You will usually work alongside an experienced team, but you will also have the chance to take ownership of smaller installs, stock deliveries, site checks, maintenance visits and defined basic electrical integration tasks. It is hands-on, active, practical work for someone who likes being organised, moving projects forward and seeing the results of their work in real time.
Why This Role Is Exciting
· You will work with modern photography, visual and attraction-based technology.
· You will support practical electrical technician-style tasks as part of live installations.
· You will get access to the behind-the-scenes side of visitor attractions and theme parks.
· You will have a mix of office, warehouse and field-based work, not a role stuck behind a desk.
· You will be trusted to take ownership, solve problems and help keep projects moving.
· You will join a growing company where good ideas, energy and follow-through are valued.
· You will have real progression opportunities as the business continues to scale.
What You Will Be Doing
· Preparing equipment, tools and installation kits for new projects.
· Managing warehouse inventory and keeping stock organised and ready to go.
· Controlling consumable stock, processing venue orders and arranging postage, courier delivery or direct delivery.
· Supporting site installs, system setup, testing, snagging and handover.
· Supporting basic electrical integration work, including power systems, cable fabrication/termination and preparing cable or connectivity components for install.
· Leading smaller installs, maintenance visits and site support tasks where required.
· Carrying out general repairs, maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting.
· Working safely around power-related equipment and escalating specialist electrical work to qualified electricians or approved contractors where required.
· Working with the in-house IT team, suppliers and subcontractors, including electricians.
· Helping ensure every install is delivered on time, set up correctly and maintained to a high standard.
Who We Are Looking For
·We are looking for someone practical, reliable and switched on. You do not need formal qualifications or years of industry experience. What matters most is your attitude, your willingness to learn and your pride in getting things done properly.
·You are organised, detail-driven and good at following plans and checklists.
· You are comfortable with technology and happy to figure things out.
· You are comfortable working with power systems, cable fabrication/termination and basic electrical integration tasks.
· You have an interest in photography, visual systems or how camera-based experiences work.
· You are hands-on and physically able to work with equipment and installation materials.
· You communicate well with colleagues, suppliers, subcontractors and venue contacts.
· You can work independently when needed and stay calm when solving practical problems.
· You have a keen eye for quality, including what makes a good photo or guest experience
· Basic photography, networking, IT or electrical technician skills would be helpful, but formal qualifications are not essential. Training and support will be provided for the right person.
What Is In It For You
· Competitive salary, depending on experience.
· Travel expenses paid.
· Company-funded training, including health and safety, manual handling, working at height and any role-specific electrical safety or equipment training required.
· Time off in lieu where weekend or additional project work is required.
· Your birthday off each year, in addition to statutory annual leave.
· Access to modern tools, systems and seriously cool tech.
· A varied role with a fast-moving, supportive and energetic team.
· Clear opportunities to grow into leadership, technical operations or project management as the business expands.
