Bunratty Castle Hotel is currently seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Night Porter to join our team. As part of the hotel's overnight operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our guests while maintaining the smooth running of the hotel during night-time hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and assisting with late check-ins and early departures.
- Providing exceptional customer service and responding to guest requests efficiently.
- Carrying out regular security and fire safety checks throughout the hotel.
- Setting up conference, meeting, and event rooms as required.
- Assisting with light housekeeping and cleaning duties in public areas.
- Serving refreshments or room service requests when necessary.
- Completing end-of-day administrative duties and reports.
- Ensuring the hotel is secure, clean, and well-presented at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- A reliable, trustworthy, and professional manner.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Good level of spoken and written English.
