Our Opportunity
Our Transmission & Distribution division is delivering a number of projects across Ireland, and we are now looking to enable a new
Project Director to further grow and manage our project portfolio. This role will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring we meet our objectives in relation to safety, service excellence, profitability, and the development of client and stakeholder relationships.
Our new Project Director will exercise functional oversight over all aspects of the projects under their control, including commercial management, planning, procurement, construction, quality assurance, health and safety, engineering, and the development and training of project personnel. This responsibility is fulfilled through the effective leadership, management, and support of the Project Managers assigned to each project.
This role can be based out of our Waterford, Cork or Dublin offices.
Qualifications and Strengths
- An Electrical Engineering Degree or recognised trade qualification.
- 10+ years' experience of managing large construction projects.
- Strong understanding of high voltage electrical infrastructure, regulatory requirements, and preconstruction strategies.
- Strong knowledge of the Irish MV/HV sector - the clients and consultants.
- Knowledge of Civil, Structural and Architectural packages.
- Proven leadership skills with a strategic mindset and strong business acumen.
