Role Summary:
We are looking for a HGV driver to join our company. We are seeking a reliable individual to collect and deliver loads to our sites around the country. Some yard work will also be involved.
Responsibilities include -
- Ensuring all collections/ deliveries are made in a professional and timely fashion.
- To resolve issues/queries effectively and report to relevant departments where necessary.
- A positive work attitude with a high degree of commitment
- Conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle before departing
- Follow route and time schedule.
- Be 100% compliant with Health & Safety, Smoking Regulations and Environmental requirements ensuring PPE is worn at all times while carrying out duties.
Person Specifications -
- Minimum 1 year experience driving a Heavy Goods Vehicle
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Must hold all relevant CE Licence/Driver Digital Card/CPC Card.
- A good level of written and spoken English is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent driving history with accident free record.
