We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Onsite IT Support Engineer, Specialist to join our team. This role is located in Dublin .
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Provide technical support for corporate users onsite in the Dublin office, including incident and request management, ensuring technical resolution and service restoration through use of administrative tools
Provide guidance and expertise to resolve technical faults across hardware and software environments, assisting users appropriately and following up on IT issues accordingly
Procure, build and deploy end user devices as required, recording deployments appropriately in an asset register and ticketing system, taking full responsibility for accuracy and timely updates
Adhere to standard operating procedures, system guidelines and associated BNY policies and standards
Where appropriate, assist other BNY locations remotely, working with the wider EMEA team to deliver first class service
Understand the configuration and functionality of site technology and take responsibility for escalations involving any site technology
Pro-actively build and maintain good working relationships with the Business, educating them on the available end user technology and associated capabilities
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required
Experience in technical and customer support required
Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
