We are currently looking to expand our successful existing Nursing team to assist us with providing this home away from home experience .
About The Role
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Managing residents' admissions, discharges, and medication administration in line with best practices by adhering to the procedures/guidelines in place in our care facility.
- Supervise, lead, and manage staff, delegating and allocating duties as necessary
- Maintain clear, concise and accurate records within the home in accordance with legislation.
- Ensure all admissions to the home are carried out correctly and all appropriate documentation completed
- Developing individual care plans using a person-centered approach
- Ensuring the accurate and timely recording of Care Notes and Plans.
- Assume responsibility on each shift for the nursing care of allocated residents..
- Evaluate resident care needs by building strong relationships with residents ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity, privacy and respect and are treated as individuals.
Requirements
- Registered on the Irish live register (NMBI). Must have active PIN.
- 1 year Nursing experience (preferred).
- Experience of HIQA Standards and Health Act Regulations 2013.
- Strong clinical & communication skills are required.
- Fluent in English language (verbal and written).
- Proven attention to detail and follow through.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bruree, Co. Limerick: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
