Support Graphic Designer - Rebrand Project
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support a Senior Designer on a dedicated project for an approx. 6 month timeframe. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer who enjoys production-focused creative work and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview
You will work closely with the Senior Designer to assist in the rollout and development of product packaging across a large-scale project. The role will involve adapting artwork, preparing print-ready files, maintaining brand consistency, and supporting the wider project delivery process.
The hourly rate for this role is between €19 and €22, determined by objective, gender-neutral criteria. In addition, this role includes access to EAP support, on-site parking and flexible hours. Placement within the range is based on individual qualifications, relevant experience and skillset.
Key Responsibilities
· Design packaging concepts aligned with brand guidelines and commercial objectives
· Create artwork for product packaging
· Prepare print-ready production files with strong attention to technical specifications and food labelling compliance requirements
· Ensure packaging designs are visually impactful, functional, and aligned with target consumer expectations
· Liaise with printers, suppliers, and external agencies to ensure accurate production output
· Manage multiple designs and deadlines simultaneously
· Maintain consistency across packaging systems and wider brand assets
· Adapt existing packaging designs for new SKUs, regions, or product variants
· Stay informed on packaging trends, sustainability considerations, materials, and retail presentation standards
· Participate in creative brainstorming and concept development sessions
Requirements
· 3+ years’ experience in graphic design with a strong focus on packaging
· Portfolio demonstrating packaging projects across physical products
· Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Packaging Design, or related discipline
· Equivalent industry experience may also be considered
· Advanced proficiency in:
o Adobe Illustrator
o Adobe Photoshop
o Adobe InDesign
o openness to AI-based design tools and plugins such as Darty
· Strong understanding of:
o Print production
o Keylines
o Colour management (CMYK, Pantone)
o Prepress and artwork setup
· Experience working with packaging suppliers and printers
· Excellent typography, layout, and branding skills
· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Contract Details
· 4–5 days per week
· ~6-month project duration
· Cork-based preferred, though remote working is possible
