INDUSTRY & CO
Administrative Assistant
Dublin City Centre | Full-Time | Reporting to the Executive Directors and Office Manager
ABOUT US
Industry & Co is a design-led retail group made up of three concept stores in Dublin city centre — HOME, LIFE and KIDS — each curated around a distinct lifestyle edit, plus our in-store café. Our stores sit within metres of each other in the heart of the city, and together we champion thoughtful design, elevated retail experiences and inspiring interiors.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an organised, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Office Manager and Executive Directors across all three stores and the café. This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes — from day-to-day administrative support, to monitoring our automated systems, to helping us make sense of the data behind the business. It would suit someone at the start of their administrative career who is eager to learn, take ownership of tasks, and grow within a busy, fast-paced retail environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Executive Directors, Office Manager, and retail leadership.
- Monitor our automated systems, checking for errors or gaps and flagging issues before they become problems.
- Pull together and analyse data into clear reports that support management decisions.
- Support recruitment administration such as scheduling interviews, filing applications, and preparing candidate correspondence.
- Help prepare reports, letters, presentations, and other documents for internal and external use.
- Act as a point of contact between the office and staff across HOME, LIFE, KIDS and the Café, ensuring information flows smoothly.
- Manage general office administration — filing, data entry, diary management, ordering supplies and maintaining accurate records.
- Support with ad hoc projects and provide cover across administrative tasks as needed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with confidence picking up new software and systems.
- Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets, and drawing out useful insight from them.
- Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a small team.
- Previous administrative experience is an advantage.
- An interest in design, retail or hospitality is a plus.
- Fluent written and spoken English required for this role, given its administrative and reporting responsibilities.
WHY JOIN US
- Be part of a family-run business with a strong identity and loyal customer base.
- Varied, hands-on role with real scope to take ownership and grow your skills.
- Work across three beautifully curated stores and a café in the heart of Dublin city centre.
- Staff discount across all stores and the café.
