We are inviting applications for full time Breakfast Afternoon Lounge Manager position who have knowledge and experience in food service with an eye for 5*detail.
To ensure the provision of friendly and efficient breakfast, room service, afternoon lounge service and WPCC lunch and functions service and coffee breaks to all guests, in a clean and hygienic environment, ensuring that all staff comply with hotel and legal legislation.
To monitor and control all breakfast and lounge items, crockeries and glassware stocks.
To manage your department effectively, to consistently achieve the highest safety and hygiene and operational standards. To maintain a high standard of customer care and customer relations. To operate an effective, efficient department by effective use of well-trained staff.
The Falls Breakfast Afternoon Lounge Manager is the person responsible for managing the workload of the department during the breakfast, AM room service and afternoon lounge shifts and WPCC lunches, daytime functions, and coffee breaks.
Reporting To: Restaurant Manager
- Breakfast standards and AM room service standards and service delivery and procedure for breakfast.
- Breakfast Supervisor ensuring they perform their duties
- Breakfast teammate during breakfast service.
- Bar /Lounge teammate in the AM and afternoon lounge service.
- Breakfast items stocks and stock management of those items
- Bar/lounge and room service while on duty.
- Staff communication and training for Breakfast service and breakfast room service
- Purchasing of stock, glasses and utensils for Breakfast.
- Customer service and guest satisfaction at Breakfast and afternoon lounge service while on duty
- Further development of the department and its team
- To organise the efficient operation of the team at Breakfast and afternoon lounge time
- All HACCP protocols for service and in still room area including fridge temperature and perishables labelling.
- To liaise and work with the Restaurant Director in regard to organisation and special events.
- To report to the Restaurant Director in department and team performance and issues
- Checking ahead that adequate staffing has been scheduled by the FB Management and communicate and/or request for changes
- Making sure the team is taking Breaks in a timely manner and in line with hotel and government regulations

This luxury five-star country house is part of the great Relais Chateaux family and story, with an excellent reputation and national recognition. You must have an extensive knowledge of food and beverage service and have previous 5* hotel restaurant experience. Attention to detail is paramount and this role will suit someone who is meticulous about his or her work with a great eye and attention to details. Guest and team satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us and the ideal candidate will be able to relate with people at all levels and is an excellent communicator. We are looking for a Breakfast Afternoon Lounge Manager , with an in-depth knowledge of food and beverage and a very strong focus on customer and staff service and staff training development and retention to join and share the leadership of the team.
You must have the proven ability to deliver an exceptionally high level of customer service and be able to lead and take responsibility for a team in your charge. The role requires an excellent communicator that has attention to standards and detail with an excellent knowledge of food and beverage at a 5* level.
This is a full-time position and is on a rostered basis, which includes weekends.
