Senior Quantity Surveyor
A Primary Building Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for several large-scale Residential Project in the Kildare Area. We requires a candidate with senior-level responsibilities, ideally within the residential space in Ireland. The company has a strong pipeline for the foreseeable future. The successful Senior QS will work as part of a very well-resourced and staffed team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- A proven track record in managing subcontractors and clients on valuations, variations, final accounts, and cost reporting
- Strong understanding of specifications, bills of quantities, and construction drawings
- Skilled in extracting quantities from drawings and procuring accurate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers within specified timelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other Quantity Surveying software
- Demonstrable experience in residential projects
- Excellent budget management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and precise reports
- Organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities
- Proactive self-starter with strong flexibility and commitment to success
- Effective team player with well-developed interpersonal skills
