Brew Stop Café is a thriving, fast-paced café operating 7 days a week, serving brunch, specialty coffee, and homemade treats. We have built a strong reputation for exceptional food, quality ingredients, and outstanding customer service.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Chef / Sous Chef to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering our food offering. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, values creativity, and wants a better work-life balance than traditional restaurant hours.

The Role
As Chef, you will work alongside our Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of kitchen operations while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes during busy service periods
- Assist with menu planning and development of new dishes and specials
- Maintain consistency, presentation, and portion control
- Manage stock rotation, ordering, and waste control
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Support kitchen cost control and GP targets
- Work closely with front-of-house management to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Help maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or experienced Cook
- Experience in a busy café or casual dining environment preferred
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure during peak service
- Good understanding of food safety and HACCP procedures
- Passion for fresh, quality food and continuous improvement
- Positive attitude and strong team ethic
