ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM:
The People Generalist role will help drive people-first employee experience across multiple client groups working with the People Business Partner team. This role will help deliver a range of both strategic and tactical programs that align with TKWW’s strategic vision.
The well-rounded and forward thinking People Generalist (you!) will help support the needs of the organization through execution of daily functions and workflows as well as a forward thinking mindset. This position is an integral part of the People team and works with managers and stakeholders across various departments while also communicating with employees at all organizational levels. You will work in lockstep with the People Business Partner team and will report directly to the Regional People Partner (RPP) for UK & Ireland.
The role is designed to provide a development pathway towards future Regional/People Business Partner roles, which may arise.

The responsibilities of the post holder may change over time, in line with the needs of the People Department, and the wider organization, meaning that a rotation of key areas of responsibilities will be the normal practice.
RESPONSABILITIES:
Stakeholder Collaboration and Relationship Management
- Provide a comprehensive and professional service to key stakeholders including Directors, Managers, and their respective teams on all HR-related matters.
- Attend key stakeholder meetings with or on behalf of the RPP.
- Develop close and effective working relationships with both the RPP and People Business Partners (PBP) for the relevant business units, and other key stakeholders to ensure HR policies and processes are implemented within the areas they support.
- Partner with the RPP and Labour Relations Team on key employee relations issues within the UK & Ireland.
- Assist when required in the preparation of hosting agreements and other employment permit applications.
- Act as a point of contact with the RPP and employees regarding the employee status of those employees requiring an employment permit.
HR Operations and Support
- Manage and action all relevant emails and queries which arise in support of the relevant units and associated stakeholders.
- Provide coaching and guidance with consideration to current practice and precedent; support analysis and development of recommendations for next steps/actions.
- Support employee and manager inquiries and contribute to the evolution of our self-service model, and other scalable people solutions.
- Proactively assist with the management of probations, bring to the attention of the RPP any relevant probation issues which may arise.
- Ensure that the Line Manager and RPP are informed of probation review dates in advance, send follow-up correspondence as required.
- Partner with RPP on issues of higher complexity.
- Lead continuous improvement activity of employment practices, policies, and the culture of the workplace.
- Achieve outlined goals and outcomes and effectively support and drive the People department's ability to achieve annual goals and initiatives.
- Manage sensitive and proprietary company information with complete confidence and proper observation of position, department, and company standards.
Performance and Employee Relations
- Consult with front-line leaders on performance coaching, corrective action, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), and terminations.
- Provide coaching and guidance with consideration to current practice and precedent; support analysis and development of recommendations for next steps/actions.
- Partner with RPP on issues of higher complexity.
Program and Project Management
- Work in partnership with the RPP team to deliver bi-annual/annual programs including our talent review process, employee survey process, and annual merit cycle.
- Ad-hoc project management responsibilities in areas including but not limited to updating internal policies and processes, mergers, and acquisitions.
Payroll and Data Management
- In conjunction with the Payroll team, manage the monthly payroll requirements for the respective units within the payroll timelines.
- Create and analyze workforce metrics, trends, reports, and presentations.
- Respond to data requests from RPP/PBPs and other members of the team.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field, or combination of education and work experience (essential)
- 3-5 years’ directly related work experience in Human Resource in an organization based in the Republic of Ireland (essential)
- CIPD membership in Ireland
- 2+ years of experience in a high-growth technology organization (preferred)
- Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems; demonstrated experience gathering data, pulling systemic reporting, manipulating data/ formatting reporting in Excel and preparing presentation of information.
- Employee relations and PIP management experience
- Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively lead department-level initiatives within defined timelines with specific deliverables.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptive style to accommodate to quickly changing business needs and priorities
- Strong, professional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong aptitude for learning new HR systems and how to maximize the functionality
- Preferred experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, docs, sheets, Google meet)
