Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Department and reporting line: Reporting to the head of the Maintenance Department
Location and work arrangements: Milltown, Clonoulty, Cashel Co. Tipperary
On-Site Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5:30pm), with the occasional weekend depending on business needs.

Specializing in hygiene furniture to main suppliers of rollers, rail systems, lifting and cutting equipment.
Role Overview
This role involves the supply, installation, and maintenance of equipment used within the food and meat industry. The Maintenance Technician will work on‑site at customer factories across Ireland and occasionally the UK, ensuring equipment is installed correctly, maintained to a high standard, and repaired efficiently. Adherence to industry hygiene and safety standards is essential.
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete repairs in a timely manner.
· Repair bearings, seals, shafts, and related components as required.
· Install and service pnematic controls.
· Work closely with the Head of Department on daily tasks and priorities.
· Adhere to all health and safety standards and site‑specific requirements.
· Support daily administration tasks as needed.
· Attend customer sites within the food and meat industry across Ireland (and occasionally the UK), ensuring compliance with all hygiene and safety protocols.
Requirements Skills and Experience
· Strong punctuality and reliability.
· Good work ethic and ability to work independently.
· Good communication skills.
· “Clean as you go” approach to work.
· Safe Pass (can be organised).
· Manual Handling training (can be provided).
· Mechanical experience.
· Electrical experience (qualification not required).
· Experience in a manufacturing environment (advantageous but not essential).
Preferred Skills
· Experience working within food or meat processing environments.
· Familiarity with hygiene‑critical equipment.

Salary Range
€40,000 – €55,000 depending on experience.
Pay: €40,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
