We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join our team working on water, drainage, and utility infrastructure projects in Loughrea, Galway.
Responsibilities:
Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager and Site Manager
Supervise and coordinate groundworks crews on site
Oversee water, drainage, and utility installation works
Manage plant, equipment, and materials effectively on site
Ensure all work meets required quality standards
Enforce health and safety procedures across the site at all times
Support day-to-day site operations and problem-solving
Ensure work is completed according to project timelines
Requirements:
Strong background in civil engineering, water, drainage, and groundworks projects
Proven experience in a foreman or supervisory role
Good knowledge of construction methods and regulations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong organisational and team management abilities
Full clean Irish driving licence essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
