Assistant Accountant – Ireland, Stamullen, Co Meath – Full-time - Permanent contract (office based role)
Role responsibilities:
· Processing Sales orders, customer billing invoices, customer returns and receipts .
· Maintaining and setting up customers’ accounts details on accounts system and logistic system.
· Reviewing and monitoring that customers agreed pricing are accurately updated on system
· Aged debtor analysis and credit control
· Processing and managing monthly direct debit
· Logistics :Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure on-time delivery of goods and monitor shipment tracking and customers daily delivery report .
· Dealing with customer queries
· Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
· Processing Purchase orders, returns and stock invoices
· Involved in stock management and forecasting
· Coordinating with warehouse to conduct monthly/quarterly /yearly stock take
· Updating and maintaining Stock valuation Report
· Ensuring that product prices are accurately updated on the system and all relevant reports.
· Act as a contact for all stock queries from Sales Reps ,internal departments and wholesalers.
· Complete VIES ,Intrastat returns ,PSUR and other returns as required by company .
· Manage and Reconcile Intercompany accounts.
· Posting journals, reconciling and analysing nominal accounts for management reporting
· Involved in Month-End Closing procedures and ensuring all month end deadlines are adhered to.
· Providing cover and answering queries for AP & AR
· I.T liaison with business systems and CRM providers
· Ad-hoc duties as required by management
Required qualifications and experience:
Minimum 3yrs relevant experience required and qualification desirable

· Flexible, able to manage and handle constant change.
· Great communication and organisation skills
· A team player who can work cross-functionally to best support customers and colleagues

This role reports to the Head of Finance.
