Operations Manager
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a production team and managing the daily operations of the factory.
Roles & Responsibilities: · Manage daily operations of the bakery across production, packing, quality & administration. ·
Develop & introduce metrics to measure performance of KPI’s (daily, weekly, monthly). ·
Staff scheduling and recruitment in production, packing & cleaning teams. ·
Develop & train managers/supervisors and general staff to an effective level. ·
Oversee Production planning. · Oversee ingredients & packaging planning, stock control & procurement. · Ensure all operational metrics are accurately measured, monitored and controlled. ·
Ensuring the bakery is run in a safe & legal manner and that production is completed to a high standard. ·
Support NPD – part of NPD team and assist with product concepts and ideas. Assist in developing product & process based on NPD brief. ·
Identify, evaluate & support the introduction of new process technology and equipment to support our growing business including lean manufacturing and completing the requisite training. ·
BRC/HACCP - Central role in the implementation, monitoring of BRC standards and being part of the HACCP team. ·
Key Reports -Production, Packing, Stores & Dispatch. Quality Control
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €45,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
