Accounts Assistant (Full Time)
Established in 2011, Greentech Plastics is a leading post-consumer and post-industrial plastics engineering and manufacturing company. Head-quartered in a state-of-the-art facility in Limerick, Ireland, and with two more facilities in Waterford, Ireland, and Southampton, UK, we are recognised as experts in the refinement of plastic by-product for resale throughout Europe.
We looking to recruit a full-time employee for the position of Accounts Assistant. The position is located at our Limerick facility, at Unit 35 McLoughlan Road, Castletroy, Limerick. We are searching for a vibrant personality to assist our existing Finance Department. The successful candidate will be working under the Finance Manager.
The successful candidate would work 40 hours per week. The salary will be reflective of experience to date.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Accounts Payable (Processing Invoices; Allocating Payments; Supplier Payments & Month End Reconciliations)
- Assist with preparing & submission of VAT, VIES & CSO Forms
- Issuing invoices to Customers and following up on payments
- Reconciliations of banks, debtor/creditor accounts, etc.
- Manging employee expense reports and payment of same
- Scanning and filing of purchase invoices on SmartOffice & publishing to Sage
- Assist with Month end processes
- Experience with Payroll Software & processing would be an advantage but is not essential
- Office administration duties – to include phone/emails/filing/ancillary office duties
