Key Requirements of the Role:

Be willing to work on the tills, coffee stations, food service counters or floor as required, and be welcoming and helpful to all customers using our services.

When handling food for the deli or salad bar ensure that the food preparation and service are in line with HACCP/Food Hygiene policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest standards of Food Safety and Hygiene are maintained in your work area and associated areas, as directed.

Ability to multi-task, handle multiple roles as required, and use initiative as needed: have good organisational skills and work consistently with attention to detail.

Operate tills in line with Aramark's till-user policy.
-
Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries as required.
-
Carry out any tasks required in preparing and serving food and beverages and always maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed, use the FIFO rule.

Observe HACCP policies in food handling storage and ensure that all the necessary information is recorded accurately.

Adhere to the prescribed dress code, always wear all task-appropriate PPE, and maintain high personal hygiene.

Know and follow fire and disaster plans and reporting injuries policies.

Ensure the correct manual handling procedures are followed when lifting or moving anything while working.

Observe the correct use and care of equipment, reporting any defective materials or equipment.

Comply with and adhere to all Aramark & Boston Scientific's policies and procedures.

To observe Aramark & Boston Scientific's confidentiality policies.

Participate in training and development programmes as required.

Complete other reasonable duties assigned by your line manager from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department.
You must have:
-
Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced catering business
-
Strong background in hospitality or catering is preferred
-
Excellent time management skills
-
Knowledge of Food Hygiene, including HACCP preferred

A problem-solving mind and solutions-orientated approach with a flexible can-do attitude
