Hundegger Saw Operator - Timber Manufacturing Facility
We are looking for a reliable, motivated and quality-focused Hundegger Saw Operator to join our timber manufacturing team in Arklow, Co. Wicklow.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a high-output, efficient production process, while ensuring every timber component meets our required standards for accuracy and quality.
The Role
As a Hundegger Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the CNC timber processing equipment, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.
You will be expected to:
- Operate and monitor the Hundegger saw safely and efficiently.
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining consistently high quality.
- Ensure timber components are cut and processed accurately to drawings and specifications.
- Carry out regular quality checks and identify any defects or issues.
- Minimise waste, downtime and production delays.
- Set up and adjust the machine for different production requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and report any technical or maintenance issues.
- Work closely with the wider production team to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Follow all company production, quality and health & safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience operating a Hundegger saw or similar CNC timber processing machinery.
- Experience within a timber manufacturing or production environment.
- A strong focus on productivity, accuracy and quality.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to spot issues before they affect production.
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings and production information.
- Good mechanical and technical awareness.
- A positive, reliable and hardworking attitude.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a production team.

- Starting rate from €14.15 per hour, negotiable depending on experience.
- Weekly performance bonus of up to 20%.
- Weekdays 8:00am–4:30pm (3:30pm Fri)
