*****Experienced Breakfast Chef******
Clonakilty Park Hotel, formerly the Quality Hotel, Clonakilty, are currently recruiting for an experienced part time Breakfast Chef for 2-3 days to join our team. Experience is required in preparing, producing and cooking food for breakfast service for a busy hotel to the agreed company standards. The hotel includes 122 units between hotel bedrooms, two bedroom suites and holiday homes.
Main Duties:
- Operating and managing the breakfast section of the kitchen and liaising with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure a successful working environment.
- Preparing mise en place for the breakfast section
- Cooking and serving breakfast, with a mix of buffet and ala carte service
- Ensuring the kitchen section adheres to safety and health regulations.
- Setting up the lunch and dinner sections before the other chefs begin their shifts
- Cooking staff lunch
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion;
- Operate in a safe and responsible manner with recognized techniques;
- Work as part of a busy kitchen team and overall as part of a professional hotel team.
The successful candidate must have:
- Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in a busy hotel environment;
- Be HACCP trained and hygiene focused;
- Have a flair for presentation;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Have a professional appearance & a positive work attitude;
- Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
Be flexible and available to work varying shifts, 2-3 out of 7 days.
