Due to continued growth and expansion, Building Envelope Technologies (BET), Ireland's leading airtightness, building performance and compliance specialists, is seeking a motivated General Operative to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within the construction and building performance industry, with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Test Engineers with the setup and operation of specialist testing equipment on construction sites.
- Support the completion of airtightness and building performance testing.
- Travel to construction sites across Ireland on a daily basis.
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and site personnel.
- Assist with testing documentation and on-site data collection.
- Ensure testing equipment is maintained, prepared and transported safely.
- Work in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Flexibility to travel extensively throughout Ireland – this is an essential requirement of the role.
- Willingness to work occasional overnight stays where necessary.
- Previous construction or similar industry experience is desirable.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification are desirable (training can be provided).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Please Note
This is a field-based role requiring regular travel throughout Ireland.
The successful candidate will normally begin each working day by meeting a BET Test Engineer at a designated meeting point in the Gorey/Ferns area, before travelling together in a company vehicle to construction sites across Ireland.

- Daily travel to construction sites nationwide.
- Early starts from different project locations.
- Working outdoors and on active construction sites.
- Occasional overnight stays when required.
