Job Type: Full -time (shift work Pattern Mon-Tue Sat-Sun one week and Wed- Fri second week ) , Permanent 12 hours shift
An opportunity has arisen at our Ripening and Distribution Centre for the role of Operations Administrator.
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to support the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of our facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient processes, accurate record-keeping, and effective communication across departments.

Main Responsibilities of the Administrator
- Set up of daily customer orders via our SAP warehouse system
- Confirmation of orders via email, and customer EDI and creation on SAP for our warehouse teams to prepare stocks
- Creation and control of Delivery note, and associated paper works for delivery to customer
- Daily filing of end of day paperwork, and end of shift process working with the shift supervision team
- Admin duties around control and intake of CHEP pallets, and Aldi Crates, using excel spreadsheets and stock control sheets where required
- Review of stocks and any product required checks or audits, traceability etc working with the
Quality team and Ripening team
- Dealing with drivers, suppliers and customers on site arriving at office, and collections of orders, paperwork etc
- Management of customer fruit cash sales, paperwork and controlling monies with our finance team
- Daily admin tasks as assigned by supervision team and management team
What you’ll need:
- Excellent communication skills
- IT Skills, SAP, Word, Excel, and mobile devices to a good level or expertise
- Available to work flexibly when the need arises
- Previous experience of working in a busy warehouse / logistics office would be an advantage
- Ability to use initiative with a positive can-do attitude
- Team player with a positive and friendly manner
- Good level of literacy and numeracy
Training will be given and the individual for the role will have a good amount of working under own initiative, they will also be looked upon for ideas on how to improve, consolidate and work smarter as time progresses.
