ELI Schools are seeking to recruit an Academic Manager to manage a series of English language evening classes due to launch in September. The classes will operate four evenings per week, for two hours 19:30 – 21:30, Monday to Thursday, and four hours every Saturday (10:00 -14:00) during a 12-week term. The role will involve managing the full student life cycle from initial level testing to placement and ongoing academic support. The role will have ultimate responsibility for the recruitment, development and management of a team of teachers, with the support of Director of Studies of the day school and HR.
We are searching for a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset who can go beyond the role of Academic Manager and to support the promotion of the classes to local business and corporate clients. The ideal client will have the confidence to present in public and a natural ability to network.
While experience as a Director of Studies or ADOS is a strong advantage, we’re seeking a candidate who can manage the delivery of the classes and experience as a whole and who is eager to help grow the students’ numbers and evening class business.
The role can be full-time with 12-15 hours per week allocated to helping to promote and grow the business or part-time for candidates more interested in a traditional academic management position.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:**
- Minimum level 7 degree (BA/BSc)
- The candidate must possess one of the following certifications: Cambridge CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL, CELT, or QQI Cert TESOL
- C2 proficiency in English

Pay: €38,000.00 per year
