General Maintenance Person (Trades Background Preferred)

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable General Maintenance Person to oversee maintenance requirements across both of our busy pub locations. This role would suit someone with a strong trades background who may be looking to move away from full-time site work into a more flexible and varied role within the hospitality industry. Both full-time and part-time options will be considered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities Include:
- General repairs and maintenance across both premises
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and repair work
- Preventative maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities
- Ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard
- Liaising with management regarding maintenance schedules and requirements
- Responding promptly to maintenance issues as they arise
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in a maintenance or trades-based role
- A practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good attention to detail and pride in their work
- Experience in a pub, hospitality or similar environment would be desirable, but not essential
- Full driving licence required
