Civic Group has evolved from a business with over 20 years in the Intelligent Transportation industry and, due to continued growth, we are recruiting Skilled Operative to join our team.
What you will do?
As a Skilled Operative you will be required to carry out a range of practical tasks that assist the team in delivering on a number of projects to include:
- Assisting Electrical Engineers and other operatives onsite
- Cable Pulling
- General Civil Works
- Support with Traffic Management
- Working as part of team to optimise the workload
- Adhering to all company and site specific safety requirements
- Any other adhoc and relevant duties on or off site that are necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the business
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all routine and reactive work is carried out in line with the contractual conditions, representing the Company’s best interests at all times.
What we are looking for?
In order to fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:
Essential:
- An in date Safe Pass.
- Full Clean Driving License – travel required within Ireland.
- Previous Construction/Civils experience – preferred one year +
- Good understanding of Health & Safety measure onsite
- Driven with a can do attitude.
Desirable:
- LUGS cert for (Location of Underground Services)
