Catering assistant to assist with the daily operation of busy School canteen. Family friendly hours approx Monday - Friday 9.30am to 2.00pm, hours can be flexible for the right candidate. Contract will be based on the academic year.
Experience in food service industry required and cooking skills would be an advantage.
Applicants should have the following abilities:
- Highly organised
- Self motivated
- Work well on their own or in a team
- Deli, canteen and barista experience an advantage
- Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene or Food Safety Management an advantage but not essential as course can be completed online after you start
- Garda Vetting required for this role and will be applied for through the school
- Must be friendly with a positive attitude
- This role requires standing throughout your shift and lifting of oven trays and food boxes. Applicant must be physically fit, without neck, back or shoulder problems.
