We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Garden Machinery Sales & Service Advisor to join our team in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading supplier of garden machinery and outdoor power equipment.
Role Overview:
As a Garden Machinery Sales & Service Advisor, you will be responsible for selling our full range of products including lawnmowers, quad bikes, garden machinery, and robotic mowers. You will also provide excellent customer service via phone and in-store, as well as carrying out setup and installation of robot mowers for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell lawnmowers, quad bikes, and garden machinery to retail and trade customers
- Answer inbound phone calls and respond to customer enquiries in a professional and helpful manner
- Advise customers on the most suitable products to meet their needs
- Set up, programme, and demonstrate robotic mowers (e.g. Husqvarna Automower, Honda Miimo) for customers
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date with new models and technology
- Assist with merchandising, stock management, and showroom presentation
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
- Support after-sales service and liaise with the workshop team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in garden machinery, outdoor power equipment, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to answer phones and handle customer queries professionally
- Mechanical interest or aptitude is an advantage
- Experience with or willingness to learn about robotic mower setup and installation
- Full clean driving licence
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
