Competitive Hip Hop Choreographer
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and committed Hip Hop Choreographer to join our competitive dance faculty. This role is specifically for our Senior Crew with opportunity to work with the Junior Crew, where you'll play an integral part in creating innovative, high-level routines while helping dancers grow both technically and artistically.

Responsibilities
- Choreograph and teach competitive-level hip hop routines for our crew.
- Collaborate with other choreographers to create cohesive, innovative, and competition-ready routines.
- Develop choreography that showcases strong musicality, creativity, storytelling, and technical excellence.
- Train dancers in hip hop foundations, freestyle, performance quality, and various hip hop styles.
- Prepare dancers for competitions, performances, and studio showcases.
- Maintain high expectations while fostering a positive, encouraging, and motivating environment.
- Teach on a weekly or bi-weekly basis (depending on the teacher schedule) and communicate effectively with the studio's leadership team.
- Be a positive role model who supports the values and culture of the studio.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive training and experience in authentic hip hop culture, foundations, and styles.
- Proven experience choreographing for competitive dance teams.
- Strong knowledge of hip hop fundamentals, grooves, textures, musicality, and performance.
- The ability to collaborate with fellow choreographers and work as part of a creative team.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Reliability, professionalism, and strong organisational skills.
- A commitment to consistency and helping dancers achieve their goals.
- A passion for mentoring young dancers and building their confidence.
- A growth mindset with a genuine desire to develop within our company.

Schedule
- Weekly or bi-weekly teaching (Wednesday evenings for Seniors and Friday evenings for Juniors).
