About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team, specialising in the commissioning of new refrigeration equipment and the management of warranty-related service work.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled refrigeration professional who enjoys technical problem-solving, system optimisation, and working closely with customers and manufacturers to ensure equipment performs to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
- Verification of system performance against design specifications.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting during commissioning and handover stages.
- Investigation and diagnosis of warranty claims.
- Liaison with equipment manufacturers regarding warranty approvals and technical support.
- Preparation of commissioning reports and warranty documentation.
- Supporting service engineers with complex technical issues.
- Providing customers with technical guidance and operational training.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with current health and safety requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial refrigeration.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of refrigeration controls and electrical systems.
- Experience commissioning refrigeration equipment.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Desirable Skills
- F-Gas Certification.
- Familiarity with Danfoss, Carel, Dixell and Emerson control systems.
- Experience handling manufacturer warranty processes.
- Knowledge of remote monitoring and energy management systems.
Pay: €60,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
