This festive season, we're searching for the most extraordinary Santa Claus to step into the iconic red suit and take centre stage at Jingle Fest, where the real Christmas magic comes to life.
As the heart of our Christmas experience, Santa will be more than a performer—you'll be the keeper of Christmas wishes, the creator of magical memories, and the reason thousands of children leave in awe of the magic of Christmas.
Position Summary:
We're looking for charismatic, warm, and engaging Santa to bring the spirit of Christmas to life. Santa Claus is a key seasonal role, responsible for delivering unforgettable memories and exceptional performance for children and families through magical interactions, storytelling, and festive cheer.
The successful candidate will bring the magic of Christmas to life, creating unforgettable and heartwarming experiences for every guest. As the iconic centerpiece of Jingle Fest, Santa Claus will delight visitors while embracing the cherished tradition of preparing for the worldwide delivery of gifts on Christmas Eve. Working closely with Mrs. Claus, the elves, and the wider Emerald Park team, Santa will help deliver an immersive, joyful, and truly magical festive experience for families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portray a professional and authentic manner throughout each shift.
- Deliver a “Ho, Ho, Ho! Merry Christmas” experience for the whole family to enjoy.
- Welcome children and families into Santa's Winter Village with warmth, enthusiasm & magic.
- Listen to children's Christmas wishes and create memorable, personalised interactions.
- Pose for photographs while maintaining character at all times.
- Work closely with your elves, photographers, and the guest experience team to ensure a seamless visit.
- Help maintain the magical atmosphere of Jingle Fest through positive energy and exceptional guest service.
- Follow all health, safety, and child safeguarding procedures.
- Represent Emerald Park in a cheerful, energetic, and professional way.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong performance, improvisation, or customer-facing experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident interacting with children and guests of all ages.
Friendly, patient, and approachable personality.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Ability to remain in costume for extended periods.
Weekend, evening, and peak holiday availability is essential.
Proven ability to work with children and the general public in a professional, approachable and charismatic way.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to take direction and advice from event manager and creative team.
Comfortable working in confined and unconventional spaces (i.e. Grotto Cabins)
