This is not your average 9-5 role, at Optimise Everything we are a customer driven start-up with innovation at our core, we encourage team members to grow and have fun! Our customers are typically large office buildings, hotels, shopping centres and retail chains.
The role
At Optimise Everything everyone in the business plays their part in reducing the energy and carbon consumption in the buildings we work with using innovation, software, hardware and common sense.
The Operations Team is at the forefront of this activity, leading the charge on reporting and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to produce impactful results.
We are looking for someone with a passion for data along with customer engagement, ideally from a smart buildings (IoT, BMS, Lighting, Controls) background who wants to help our customers cut carbon, cut costs and run a more effect building.
In between support items, you’ll assist with monitoring and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and network infrastructure, provide support for network-related incidents.
Excellent communication and organisation skills are key attributes for success in this fast paced role.

Role : Operations Associate
Base : Ireland (Dublin), office based.
Term : Full time.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse electricity, gas, water and other utility consumption across client sites.
- Track key energy KPIs, including consumption, cost, carbon emissions, peak demand and baseload.
- Assist Energy managers Identify energy-saving opportunities and support the implementation of energy-efficiency measures.
- Coordinate with Facilities Managers, Building Managers, maintenance teams and contractors.
- Track energy savings against agreed targets and prepare management reports.
- Support client meetings and provide clear updates on energy performance.
- Coordinate contractors and suppliers involved in energy-management projects.
- Support compliance with relevant energy, environmental and health & safety requirements.
- Contribute to carbon-reduction and sustainability programmes.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
Data Analysis and Interpretation
- Extract, interpret, and analyse data from various smart systems and sensors within the building infrastructure using advanced tools, including Excel and Power BI.
- Identify patterns and trends in data sets, working alongside the operations team to propose efficiency improvements.
Reporting
- Develop comprehensive reports and presentations, providing actionable insights and recommendations based on automated data analyses.
- Regularly present findings and insights to management, energy, and operational teams, facilitating data-driven decision-making processes.
Data Quality and Management
- Ensure data accuracy by resolving any inconsistencies or issues.
- Organise digital databases to ensure secure and easy data access.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with departments like Facility management to align strategies with operational goals.
- Communicate data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical staff.
Must have’s
· A passion for cardon reduction and sustainability
· Experience using online cloud-based reporting tools
· Have excellent attention to detail
· The ability to work in a demanding and ever-changing environment with tight deadlines
· Excellent organisation and project management skills
· Self-starter with a proactive approach and ability to work on own initiative
· Competent using Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
· An understanding of business practices and ethics
· Not afraid to fail
· Commitment, drive and enthusiasm to succeed
· Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise
· Have a full IRL or UK driving license
