The Ideation & Growth Portfolio Manager leads reporting, analytics, and performance management for the Coordination of Benefits portfolio and wider Ideation and Growth portfolio, providing insight into initiative performance, savings realization, revenue generation, operational outcomes, and growth modernization efforts. The role is responsible for executive reporting, forecasting, value tracking, portfolio governance, and performance measurement, while partnering with Operations, Finance, Product, Technology, and leadership teams to support strategic decision-making.
A key responsibility of the role is driving modernization across the COB portfolio by advancing automation, AI-enabled capabilities, reporting transformation, and scalable operating models that improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed-to-value. The manager identifies opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual work, enhance data integration and measurement capabilities, and support the deployment of innovative solutions that strengthen affordability, productivity, growth, and revenue outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

Own the end-to-end Ideation & Growth portfolio for Coordination of Benefits, driving opportunity identification, prioritization, deployment, value realization, and sustained medical cost savings growth

Lead COB portfolio volume planning and productivity performance, establishing capacity models, operating leverage targets, deployment velocity metrics, and automation adoption goals to maximize value delivery

Support the measurement, monitoring, and reporting of Non-Clinical ideation and growth initiatives, including tracking value realization, savings, revenue, and volume metrics, and contributing to monthly business reporting, performance analysis, and executive-level updates

Drive Growth Modernization initiatives by reducing manual effort, increasing automation penetration, improving workflow efficiency, and accelerating idea-to-production cycle times across the portfolio

Lead identification, evaluation, prioritization, and onboarding of internal and external data assets that enable growth, affordability, leakage detection, and new business opportunities

Partner with Analytics, Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and Payment Integrity stakeholders to establish scalable data acquisition, enablement, and governance capabilities that maximize business value realization

Develop business cases, use-case frameworks, and investment recommendations for new data, technology, AI, and innovation opportunities, ensuring alignment to enterprise growth and affordability objectives

Lead the formulation, prioritization, and deployment of AI, GenAI, machine learning, automation, and agentic workflow use cases that enhance ideation, lead generation, root-cause analysis, governance readiness, deployment monitoring, and portfolio reporting

Establish and monitor portfolio KPIs including medical cost savings, revenue growth, productivity improvement, automation penetration, volume per resource, deployment velocity, forecast accuracy, and realized business benefit to ensure achievement of growth and operational excellence objectives

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience

Proven solid experience in healthcare operations, Payment Integrity, Coordination of Benefits, claims auditing, reporting, or related healthcare functions
-
Proven experience leading portfolios and programs, including identifying opportunities, driving value realization, and supporting business growth within healthcare or Payment Integrity environments
-
Demonstrated solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with forecasting, productivity metrics, financial performance reporting, and business performance analysis
-
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate reporting within tight deadlines
-
Proven experience utilizing AI, machine learning, analytics, or intelligent automation to enhance operational or analytical processes
-
Proven experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, including Operations, Product, Finance, Technology, and business leadership teams
Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience within Payment Integrity, Coordination of Benefits, healthcare payer, or related healthcare environments

Proven experience leading enterprise portfolios, governance functions, and strategic growth initiatives

Demonstrated solid financial acumen, including forecasting, business case development, and value realization methodologies

Proven experience utilizing advanced analytics, AI, machine learning, or automation technologies

Proven experience supporting healthcare modernization initiatives
