Experienced Landscape Gardener / Maintenance Manager
Location: Brownstown Estate, Co. Meath
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Brownstown Estate is seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Landscape Gardener / Maintenance Manager to oversee the ongoing care, presentation and development of their gardens and grounds.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate horticultural professional who takes genuine pride in maintaining exceptional standards and has a meticulous eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the estate's gardens, lawns, borders, trees and landscaped areas to the highest standard.
- Plan and undertake seasonal planting, pruning, lawn care and general horticultural maintenance.
- Ensure the estate is presented to an exceptionally high standard throughout the year.
- Operate and maintain horticultural machinery and equipment safely.
- Identify and manage pests, diseases and plant health issues.
- Schedule and supervise routine maintenance works and external contractors where required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Assist with estate improvement projects, general maintenance and landscape enhancements.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape gardening, estate gardening or horticultural maintenance.
- Strong horticultural knowledge with practical hands-on experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest professional gardening standards.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and manage seasonal tasks effectively.
- Experience operating horticultural machinery and equipment.
- Reliable, organised and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Full clean driving licence.
Desirable
- Relevant horticultural qualification.
- Experience managing large private gardens or estates.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and machinery maintenance.
