Hygiene Supervisor/ Line Leader

Working pattern: The site is operational 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. The rosters will be determined by Senior Managers, one week in advance of work, to a maximum of 40 hours per week, excluding Overtime.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Hygiene & Cleaning Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and maintaining high levels of hygiene. Responsibilities include supervising cleaning staff, conducting regular inspections, managing cleaning supplies, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform heavy duty housekeeping & hygiene duties as assigned to you by your manager
- To adhere fully to all safety policies, procedures & regulations
- Overall responsibility for the organisation of the day to day cleaning operation
- Be an active member of the cleaning team & carry out cleaning duties
- Check daily that all areas of the site are cleaned to the required level
- Ensure that cleaning records are completed
- Assist in the development of cleaning standards & schedules where required
- Carry out stock take on cleaning materials & place order with the department manager
- Report any issues to the department manager in a timely manner
- To ensure that all health & safety procedures are followed
Key Behaviours
- Good Supervisory & Interpersonal Skills
- Be highly organised & detail orientated
- A good command of English language is desirable
- Experience in Commercial Cleaning and Health & Safety practices
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a team
- Certification in health and safety or hygiene management is a plus
