Job Title:
Rigid Driver/Warehouse Operative
Purpose:
This role contributes to the efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse and supports the work of management and fellow warehouse staff. You may on occasion be required to complete deliveries to our customers. Due to the nature of our business operations, we require a flexible working attitude.

Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities:
The person in this role is required to perform a range of duties including, but not limited to:
· Pick customer orders for shipment
· Ensure orders are accurate and free from damage
· Ensure orders are picked in a timely and efficient manner and ready for collection by driver at the appointed time
· Pack orders (shrink wrap) and label as required
· Report any shortages and breakages
· Use of stock control system
· Assist with stocktakes if required
· Ensure paperwork (as necessary) is completed and signed
· Assist with empties
· Use of forklift, pallet jack, etc., as required
· Efficiently and safely load deliveries onto trucks
· Deliver Stock to Customers
· Record & sign all documents, ie. invoices or delivery notes
· Drive in a safe, time-efficient and environmentally friendly manner
· Vehicle management:
o Keep trucks clean – inside and out
o Drive & park in a safe manner
o Report maintenance issues
o Maintain Tachographs (if necessary)
· Liaise with clients in a friendly and professional manner
· Unload at destination in a safe and efficient manner, accommodating client requests as much as possible
· Wear correct PPE
· Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
· Keep relevant qualifications up to date, e.g. CPC, Clean Driving Licence
· Stack products in a safe and clear manner
· Assist a Driver, as required
· Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
· Help keep the warehouse neat, clean & tidy
Pay: €30,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
Licence/Certification:
- C Driving Licence (required)
