FlexiForce is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Communications Manager to join a major capital development programme in Dublin.
This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional to play a key role in one of Ireland's largest infrastructure projects, leading stakeholder communications, engagement strategies, media relations and internal communications across a complex, high-profile programme.
About the Role
Reporting to the Programme Management Office (PMO) Lead, the Communications Manager will be responsible for delivering clear, consistent and effective communications throughout the programme.
You'll work closely with project teams, senior leadership and external stakeholders to develop communication strategies, coordinate training and onboarding activities, manage media engagement and ensure all programme updates are communicated effectively.
This role is ideal for an experienced communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver internal and external communications strategies.
- Create engaging communication materials for a variety of audiences.
- Coordinate stakeholder communications across the programme.
- Manage media enquiries, press statements, interviews and events.
- Prepare briefing documents and presentations for senior leadership.
- Support programme onboarding, communications and training initiatives.
- Coordinate communications relating to programme updates and organisational change.
- Monitor media, political and industry developments, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners and key stakeholders.
- Support crisis communications and issue management when required.
- Manage communication projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are achieved.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A QQI Level 8 qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Surveying or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a communications role within construction, infrastructure, healthcare or a similarly complex environment.
- Experience developing and delivering communications campaigns.
- Experience producing digital and print communications content.
- Experience managing media enquiries and stakeholder communications.
- Experience implementing organisation-wide communication strategies.
- Strong experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
