Harkin's Bar & Bistro is a Bar/Restaurant with adjacent Coffee Shop.
This position details:
Cellar Work- Taking in deliveries and cross checking dockets. Leaving our empty kegs and bottles for collection. Keeping cellar storeroom area clean. Ensuring stock is rotated etc.
Bar Back- Assisting bar staff by keeping bar area tidy and ensuring stock up to date at all times. Changing kegs when empty. Collecting and washing used glasses from tables. Removing glasses from washer and rotating hot and cold glassware accordingly. Delivering drinks to customers. Collecting cocktails from restaurant area, returning food plates to kitchen etc.
You must be physically able to lift kegs for this position. Our cellar is located below the bar area with access via a hatch, our restaurant is located on first floor and kitchen is located on second floor- you must be physically able for this.
You must be able to work weekends and bank holiday mondays
example weekly roster:
Monday 9am to 1pm (5pm on BH's)
Thursday 9am to 5pm
Friday 9am to 6pm
Saturday 9am to 6pm
Sunday 11am to 6pm
Minimum 1 years previous experience in a similar role within the Hospitality sector in Ireland required.
Complimentary staff food provided on breaks.
Fluent english is essential- do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.
The business is loctaed in Dublin 8, ensure you can reliable arrive at the premises at required times before applying.
Pay: €15.00 per hour
