We are looking for a Content Specialist to help showcase the incredible experiences happening across the Killary Adventure Group of brands. Your job is simple: capture great content, edit, and upload to our social media platforms.

Job Title: Content Specialist
THE ROLE
As our Content Specialist, you’ll be responsible for capturing authentic photo and video content across our activities, accommodation, events and day to day operations. You will work closely with our marketing team by creating a constant stream of fresh content that brings our brands to life.
The role is about being present, spotting memorable moments, and ensuring our marketing team always has a pipeline of high quality content to work with.
Based in the heart of Connemara along Killary Fjord, this is a unique opportunity to work in one of Irelands most stunning outdoor environments while helping tell the story of adventure, hospitality, and unforgettable experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capture high-quality photos and videos across all areas of the business
- Film adventure activities, events, accommodation, team members and guest experiences, with a focus on short form content.
- Identify moments that showcase the atmosphere and personality of our brands.
- Edit and upload content across our social media platforms, posting in real time alongside scheduled content
- Managing comments, messages and general engagement
- Ensure content is correctly stored for easy access by our marketing team.
- Work alongside wider team members of instructors, hospitality staff and guests to capture engaging content.
- Attend company events and special activities.
- Help build and maintain a large library of content for future marketing use.
- Follow brand guidelines and content briefs provided by the marketing team.
- Communicate effectively with departments to understand upcoming activities and content opportunities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have:
- Have a passion or keen interest in photography, videography and social media content.
- Be enthusiastic, outgoing, and comfortable approaching people for photos and videos.
- Enjoy spending time outdoors and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Be organised and capable of managing large volumes of content.
- Have a strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
- Quick, proactive and able to react to what is happening on the ground
- Basic video editing skills (short and longer form)
Required
- Fluent English is essential, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Punctual & reliable.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently under own initiative where necessary.
- Proven previous engagement from previous work/content created.
Desirable
- An interest in the outdoors/adventure.
- Own transport with Full License
Job Type: 3 Month Contract – August – October 2026. Contract length is flexible for the right candidate.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability to cover company events
- 09:00 – 17:00 daily
Work Location: In person. Leenane, Co Galway. Staff accommodation available
Pay: From €14.15 per hour
