Chef de Partie – Blue Bar, Skerries

The Role We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. Reporting to the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you will take ownership of your section, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Run your section efficiently during service, ensuring dishes are prepared and plated to the highest standard
- Maintain mise en place to ensure smooth and timely service
- Assist in the development of new dishes and seasonal menus
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff and commis chefs
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards are strictly adhered to
- Manage stock levels, minimise waste, and assist with ordering when required
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver a seamless dining experience
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- A passion for fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine love of food
- A valid work permit to work in Ireland (if applicable)
