PSE are now recruiting for a Warehouse Specialist & Field Service Support
The Warehouse Specialist & Field Service Support role is responsible for the efficient operation of warehouse activities, including inventory management, goods receiving, stock control, and order fulfillment. In addition, the role provides hands-on support to Field Service Engineers by preparing equipment, coordinating parts logistics, and assisting on customer sites when appropriate.
This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys a combination of warehouse operations and practical field-based work, working closely with engineers to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming goods and materials.
- Store inventory safely and efficiently while maintaining accurate stock records.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch parts, tools, and equipment for customer orders and service activities.
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
Field Service Support
- Prepare and issue parts, tools, and equipment required by Field Service Engineers.
- Coordinate urgent parts deliveries and logistics to customer sites.
- Maintain field service inventory, including engineer van stock where applicable.
- Assist with equipment preparation, testing, and configuration before deployment.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the service team.
- Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely completion of service requirements.
On-Site Engineering Assistance
- Accompany Field Service Engineers to customer sites when additional support is required.
- Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repairs under the guidance of qualified engineers.
- Support site surveys, equipment movements, and basic troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure tools, spare parts, and materials are available and organized for on-site work.
- Follow all site-specific safety procedures and company health and safety policies.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach while representing the company on-site.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in both warehouse and customer-site environments.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
- Over 23 with a full clean driving licence.
- Forklift licence
- Ability to safely lift and handle equipment and materials.
- Permit to work in Ireland
Desirable
- Experience supporting service engineers or technical teams.
- Mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in warehouse and field environments.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations while providing valuable support to Field Service Engineers both remotely and on customer sites, helping deliver exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Pay: €36,000.00 per year
