We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist (UK & Ireland) to join the finance team at Select Technology Group. About the Role:
As our Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for delivering an accurate, timely and compliant payroll service across out UK and Ireland businesses. Working closely with HR, Finance and operational teams you will play an important role in maintaining high standards while continually looking for ways to simplify processes, improve controls and enhance the service we provide.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Payroll Operations
Process accurate weekly and monthly payrolls across multiple Group companies.
Administer commissions, statutory payments, deductions and employee expenses.
Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with Irish and UK payroll legislation, Revenue, HMRC and pension requirements.
Complete statutory submissions accurately and on time.
Maintain GDPR and confidentiality standards.
Financial Control
Prepare payroll journals, reconciliations and payroll reports.
Support month-end processes and audit requirements.
Customer Support
Provide timely, professional support to employees, Managers, HR and Finance
Resolve payroll queries accurately and courteously.
Continuous Improvement
Support payroll system enhancements and HR system integration.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen payroll controls.
Requirements:
Minimum five years payroll experience.
Experience processing Irish and UK payrolls.
Knowledge of Revenue, HMRC and pension requirements.
Strong numerical ability with advanced Excel skills.
Experience working with payroll software in a multi-company environment.
Desirable:
IPASS or CIPP qualification.
Experience with BrightPay, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and BambooHR.
Retail or multi-site payroll experience.
