Glenman is currently recruiting for the position of General Operative/Forklift driver for a fitout project in Dundalk. As a General Operative you will play a key part in supporting the works. You will assist skilled trades, carry out general handyman tasks, and help ensure that the site is kept safe, organised, and efficient. This is a hands-on role suited to a reliable and safety-conscious individual with experience working on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities

Assisting tradespeople (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, etc.) with daily tasks.

Operating forklift safely and efficiently on site

Performing general site duties such as lifting, carrying, cleaning, and preparing work areas.

Operating hand and power tools safely.

Loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.

Ensuring a clean, tidy, and safe site environment.

Following company health & safety procedures and using appropriate PPE.
What We’re Looking For

Valid Forklift Licence, Safepass and Manual Handling certificates

Previous experience working on construction sites

Good practical skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Physically fit and able to carry out manual work.

Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic

Strong awareness of health & safety practices.
