Position: Dairy Farm Assistant

Ormond Dairies Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to work on a well-established modern dairy farm located in Co. Tipperary near the town of Nenagh. The role involves the daily operation of a dairy farm, including milking a herd of approximately 130 cows, feeding livestock, calving and breeding activities, maintaining high standards of animal welfare and hygiene, carrying out quality milk control, and performing general farmyard maintenance and farm operations. Training will be provided to the successful candidate where required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with livestock or in a dairy farming environment
- Basic knowledge of animal handling and welfare
- Ability to work safely with livestock
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
