As the Director of Internal Audit, you will provide strategic direction, leadership, and oversight of WUPSIL’s audit activities while participating in and leading global audits across areas such as AML, BSA, and Compliance. You will partner closely with senior leaders, maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, and ensure our internal control environment aligns with the Institute of Internal Auditing (IIA) Standards.
This role also includes delivering audit services across various Western Union locations globally (excluding North & South America and Austria), while overseeing a high-performing team based in Dublin and Lithuania.
Role Responsibilities
Lead and Execute Internal Audits
Develop, maintain, and execute audit programs for Compliance, Corporate, and country-level audits.
Review workpapers, reports, and deliverables to ensure high-quality content, accurate conclusions, and actionable recommendations.
Drive Risk Assessment & Audit Planning
