Templeogue Afterschool Academy has been providing high-quality afterschool care for local families for over 10 years. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and reliable Soccer Coach to join our team and deliver fun football sessions for primary school children.
About the Role
You will lead engaging football activities, helping children develop their skills, confidence and teamwork in a safe and positive environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate soccer sessions
- Teach basic football skills, techniques and teamwork
- Encourage children’s confidence, participation and enjoyment of the game
- Create a positive and inclusive environment for all children
- Ensure children's safety during activities
- Assist with equipment set-up and tidy-up
- Build positive relationships with children and the wider team
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience coaching football or working with children
- Be energetic, patient and enthusiastic
- Enjoy motivating children and creating a fun learning environment
- Have good communication and leadership skills
- Be reliable and able to work as part of a team
Requirements
- Experience in football coaching is an advantage
- Garda Vetting (or willingness to obtain it)
- Permission to work in Ireland
- FAI coaching qualification is an advantage but not essential
