Willowbrook Nursing Home is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to join our management team in our busy 47-bed nursing home in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), our current Clinical Nurse Manager, nursing team, healthcare assistants and wider multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.
This is a senior clinical and management role requiring strong leadership skills, sound clinical judgement and a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements within the Irish nursing home sector.
The successful candidate must be flexible and available to work an alternating roster of:
36 hours one week
48 hours the following week
This roster will be worked in conjunction with the current Clinical Nurse Manager to ensure appropriate management and clinical leadership coverage within the nursing home.
Be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active registration with NMBI.
Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a nursing management/leadership role, preferably within older-person or residential care.
Hold a relevant Level 8 or Level 9 postgraduate qualification in Management, Healthcare Management, Leadership or a related discipline.
Have a strong understanding of HIQA regulations and National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People.
Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively.
Comfortable managing a busy residential care environment.
Knowledgeable about HIQA requirements and clinical governance.
Experienced in safeguarding, complaints management, auditing and care-plan review.
Able to identify areas requiring improvement and follow actions through to completion.
Supportive of staff while maintaining high standards of accountability and professional practice.
Committed to continuous quality improvement and excellent resident outcomes.
Able to work collaboratively as part of an established management team.
Pay: From €50,000.00 per year
