Job Description
Every day, dairy farmers rely on their Lely solutions to keep their farms running efficiently. Behind every successful service visit, preventive maintenance activity and urgent repair is a team of people working together to keep operations running smoothly. The warehouse plays a vital role in that team effort, ensuring the right parts and materials are available exactly when they are needed.
As a Warehouse Representative, you are at the heart of this operation. Working closely with Service Technicians, Business Support colleagues and suppliers, you ensure that spare parts, materials and consumables are available at the right time and in the right place. You help create a seamless experience for both customers and colleagues by balancing excellent service with accurate inventory management and efficient logistics processes.
At our Lely Center, you will be part of a close-knit team that supports farmers in creating a profitable, enjoyable and sustainable future in farming. Together, you help ensure that customers can rely on their Lely solutions every day. Whether you are coordinating deliveries, supporting technicians with urgent parts requests, ensuring inventory accuracy or helping a customer at the counter, your contribution directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Your key responsibilities include:
-
Managing inbound, outbound and warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked and shipped accurately and on time.
-
Maintaining accurate inventory levels through stock management, cycle counting, investigating inventory discrepancies and managing replenishment parameters.
-
Supporting customers and Service Technicians by ensuring spare parts and materials are available when needed and providing excellent service during collections and deliveries.
-
Managing warranty administration, including checking, processing and shipping warranty claims based on information from Service Technicians.
-
Keeping the warehouse safe, organised and efficient while ensuring products are stored correctly and inventory records are maintained accurately in business systems.
Qualifications
You enjoy bringing structure to busy environments and take pride in getting the details right. Whether you are processing incoming goods, investigating a stock discrepancy or helping a technician find an urgent spare part, you work carefully and consistently to deliver the best possible service.
You recognise that a well-managed warehouse does more than store products. It helps farmers receive the support they need when they need it most.
Additionally, you bring the following:
-
Experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics or parts operations.
-
Knowledge of inbound processes, storage, order picking and goods dispatch.
-
Experience working with inventory management or warehouse management systems.
-
Knowledge of stock control processes, including cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
-
A structured and diligent approach to work with strong attention to detail.
-
A customer-oriented mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with technicians, suppliers and customers.
-
Experience with spare parts, technical products or consumables is an advantage.
-
Knowledge of warranty administration processes would be beneficial but is not essential.
