Accounts & Finance Executive
Location: Hydro Hotel, Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare
Reports To: General Manager / Directors
Job Overview: Hydro Hotel Lisdoonvarna is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Executive to manage the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel.The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll processing, management accounts preparation, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate accounting records using Sage accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts & Financial Management
Maintain accurate financial records and accounting systems.
Process supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments.
Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Maintain debtors and creditors ledgers.
Produce up-to-date creditors listings and balance sheet reconciliations.
Preparation and filing Revenue returns
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
PayrollProcess weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with Revenue, PAYE, PRSI, pensions, and employment legislation.
Maintain payroll records and employee financial information confidentially.
Sage Accounting SoftwareManage and maintain accounting records using Sage.
Generate financial reports and management accounts from Sage.
Ensure accurate posting of all transactions and journals.
Required Skills & Experience:
Essential previous experience in an accounts or finance role.
Strong knowledge of Sage accounting software.
Experience processing payroll.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to prepare management accounts and financial reports.
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
