Quigley’s Cafe is seeking an experienced, driven, and hands-on Store Manager to manage the overall performance and success of our Douglas Store. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on accountability, is passionate about exceptional customer service, and is focused on driving sales while maintaining the highest operational and brand standards.
About the Role:
As Store Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the store, leading your team by example, setting expectations, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of all areas including Coffee, Bakery, Deli, and Food-to-Go. You will take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs), staff performance, and the delivery of a standout customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the overall performance of the store.
- Drive and monitor KPIs including sales, customer service, purchases, waste, and labor targets.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team with clear expectations and accountability.
- Ensure excellent customer service is delivered consistently throughout the store.
- Maintain high operational standards across all departments (Coffee, Bakery, Deli, Food-to-Go).
- Recruit, train, develop, and manage team members to uphold store standards,
- Strong focus on upselling & implementation of this training
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and manage team development.
- Ensure the store is always fully stocked, well-merchandised, and visually appealing.
- Oversee daily operations, stock management, supplier relations, and order processing.
- Manage scheduling and rotas to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
- Monitor and manage store budgets, purchasing, costs.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, Health & Safety, and HACCP regulations.
- Uphold grooming, hygiene, and cleanliness standards across the store.
- Take initiative in resolving operational or customer issues quickly and effectively.
- Foster a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration, ownership, and growth.
