About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Commissioning & Service Engineer to join our growing team, covering projects and service calls across Leinster and the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential fire safety systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning, testing, and handover of fire alarm systems
- Routine servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding
- Troubleshooting and repair of fire alarm installations
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Irish standards and regulations
- Completing service reports and documentation accurately
- Providing excellent customer service on-site
- Liaising with project managers and clients as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in fire alarm systems commissioning and servicing
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of Irish fire safety standards (IS 3218 desirable)
- Full, clean driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with addressable and conventional systems (e.g. Advanced, Gent, Morley, C-Tec, etc.)
- Electrical qualification or relevant certification
- Experience in emergency lighting systems
